So about 5 months ago I started getting bad bruises for no apparent reason a d ended up in hospital for a while see previous posts. Since then well... A lot has happened.
Firstly started back on the "new drug" n-plate and highs and lows of platelets since then(the things that clot your blood) been getting really bad pain in different places in my right leg, only my right leg, a bit concerning and the I had a sensation that felt like something I had when I had the lymphoma, combined with night sweats... Worry.
So I said to the docs about being concerned that the lymphoma may have returned and they got me booked in for a CT scan.
I've stopped walking and taking pictures due to the pain, it's excruciating at times and nothing seems to help it, going for a walk to burn it out makes itt worse and resting it seems to do the same.
Counts still up and down and down I mean as low as they can go and marginally higher.
Thankfully I got my scan was fairly quick and all was clear on the lymphoma side.. but my lungs have inflammation probably the cough I've had for about 3 months and not the worst case scenario of a clot they had mentioned in the report.
Speaking of clots I may but am quite sure I don't, have one in my leg. They initially thought it was plantar fascitis which I found amusing as it's comon with people who are active but since the blip I haven't been getting any. Think it was caused by a bad cramp at night which was a regular occurrence, and stretching it out and tore something.
Anyway I hope that's what it is, but I have a dopplar scan next week the check for a clot. I do like they are doing these checks to be sure but at the same time none have answered anything so far anyway.
Was given antibiotics for my chest and a gel to put on my leg, I haven't needed painkillers today so I am thinking the gel is helping and hopefully the cough will clear up soon.
The hardest part has been mentally, from being as fit and healthy as I have ever been in my whole life 5 months ago to now, barely able to walk and in immense pain constantly. It's been tough, very tough, but the help I am getting from friends and family have helped and to that I am sincerely thankful.
