2014, New horizons.

After starting 2014 with a positive outlook on my health that soon dissipated with the return of the bad cough and feeling poorly, shortly followed by visiting hospital for week long trips for ESHAP and later for the stem cell transplant which lasted the whole of July. Being isolated for 2-3 weeks, didn't phase me, near choking to death.. think I was one of the more calm people in the room when I was reacting to bloods, getting my neck chopped open a couple times and having a laugh with the surgeons while it was being done, and the tongue in July, I've still not shown anyone those pictures. And getting my energy back after all of this.

When finally I did, the beautiful places that I have been able to visit already in our wee country and I have barely scratched the surface. One of the greatest things I have ever done was to buy the camera, I have fully jumped into it with two feet and I thoroughly enjoy it! And I am already getting some spectacular pictures, even if I say so myself.

But most importantly this year again have been the friendships I have made and the ones that have grown and the others that have been cemented and the love from my family, that is what I am most thankful for this year.

Here are some of my more memorable moments from 2014....

6. Unofficial Realm First level 100 DK. 5. Out of hospital for my birthday. 4. Getting the all clear. 3. My trip to Portrush the day before getting the all clear. 2. Getting the new camera 1. Germany beating Brazil in the World Cup in Brazil

Here's to 2015.
